Using Google Hangouts for conference calls

I just used Google Hangouts as a conference calling tool. A couple of us were in there so we could see each other and share information/screens and we used the "Invite people -> Add telephone" feature that allows you to dial a telephone to bring in the other participants. Each phone dialed counts as a participant. There is a limit of 10 participants to a Google Hangout session or 15 if you are using Google Apps for Education.

If you want to get whacky, you can use Uberconference or any other conference calling number add it to the Hangout (counts as one participant) and allow other folks to dial in to your Uberconference number.
